Morningside Ventures (formerly Morningside Capital, officially renamed Morningside Ventures on October 21, 2020) is one of the earliest institutions in China to engage in early-stage venture capital investment. It currently manages four USD funds and one RMB fund, with an overall managed capital scale of approximately 1.7 billion USD. Its investors include internationally renowned sovereign funds, family funds, fund-of-funds, and university foundations.Successful cases include Sohu, Ctrip, The9, China Distance Education Holdings, Xunlei, Phoenix New Media, UCWeb, YY, Xiaomi Technology, and more. Morningside Ventures has offices in Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong.
