Basic Information
Humanetics is a privately-owned, clinical-stage pharmaceutical company located in the Minneapolis metropolitan area. Founded in 1988, the company is dedicated to the development and commercialization of products to improve human health and well-being. Through a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI), Humanetics entered the field of radiation modulators in 2003. Humanetics began working with AFRRI to leverage its highly developed functional assays to screen a series of candidate drugs. Through this program, BIO 300 emerged as the leading candidate, and its foundational technology was licensed from AFRRI to Humanetics. In the subsequent years, the company has advanced this program into multiple clinical applications, primarily focused on improving treatments for solid tumor cancers.
