HCATS

HCATS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi Chemical Company, Ltd., representing its regenerative medicine business division. Its vision is to make transformative cell therapies accessible to all, and its mission is to provide customers with high-quality, scalable, innovative, reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing platforms and services to advance the commercialization of cell therapies. The PCT service platform includes Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services that adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards, encompassing clinical and commercial manufacturing, manufacturing development, and technical development. HCATS operates three cGMP manufacturing facilities in the United States, two located in Allendale, New Jersey (headquarters), and one in Mountain View, California. Outside the U.S., Hitachi Chemical's regenerative medicine business extends to a facility in Yokohama, Japan, and apceth Biopharma in Munich, Germany.
