Tyra Biosciences is a precision oncology company focused on developing cancer therapies to overcome tumor resistance and improve outcomes for cancer patients. The widespread use of approved targeted oncology treatments, such as kinase inhibitors, has transformed cancer treatment outcomes. While targeted oncology therapies have created therapeutic benefits for some patients, response rates and duration of efficacy are often limited by acquired resistance and other shortcomings of existing therapies. We are utilizing our proprietary SNÅP platform, which is optimized to rapidly and precisely refine structural designs through iterative molecular SNÅPshots, to generate next-generation product candidates specifically designed to address acquired resistance and provide alternative treatment options. Our initial focus is on developing a pipeline of selective inhibitors targeting fibroblast growth factor receptors, or FGFR, which are altered in approximately 7% of all cancers. Our lead product candidate, TYRA-300, is designed to selectively inhibit FGFR3, with an initial focus on bladder cancer patients.
