Basic Information

Care+Wear, founded in 2014, is a company inspired by purpose and social mission, dedicated to transforming the status quo of the healthcare industry. The idea for the company emerged after realizing that the only products available in healthcare at the time focused solely on functionality, rather than how they made patients look and feel. To them, this was unacceptable. Care+Wear knew they had to come up with something better for patients—something both comfortable and dignified. From there, they created their first product: an ultra-soft, antimicrobial, breathable, and machine-washable PICC line cover. Since then, they have continued to develop a dual-port access bra, designed in collaboration with Oscar de la Renta—a patient gown designed by Parsons School of Design, NICU wear designed by March of Dimes, activity gloves designed by Lucy Jones, and recovery bras for mastectomy and reconstructive surgery patients.
