Dyno Therapeutics Develops CapsidMap Platform Based on Artificial Intelligence Technology to Overcome Limitations of Current Gene Therapies by Optimizing Cell-Targeting Capsids of AAV VectorsThe work of the CapsidMap platform is divided into two main phases. First, it measures high-throughput characteristics of capsids through next-generation DNA library synthesis and DNA sequencing. After generating large amounts of in vivo data, CapsidMap applies advanced search algorithms and ML methods to generate improved capsid sequences.With the help of ML, Dyno researchers used neural networks to design selective mutation sites on 28 amino acid chains, identifying 110,689 viable variants of the AAV2 capsid.
