Phenox has been committed to developing innovative, breakthrough, and clinically validated technologies and solutions for the treatment of neurovascular diseases. Phenox exclusively sells Wobimed's Avenir™ Mechanical Detachable Coils in the U.S. and European markets, and also exclusively sells Wobimed's Esperance® Aspiration Catheters in the U.S. market. As part of the transaction, Wobimed also acquired femtos, a subsidiary of Phenox. Femtos develops and manufactures next-generation neurointerventional medical devices for stroke treatment and possesses unique expertise in femtosecond laser technology used in the production of stents and other implantable devices. As an incubator for innovative medical technology products, femtos has developed two products that have received EU CE certification to date.
