Serum Institute of India is the world's largest vaccine manufacturer by number of doses produced and sold globally (over 1.3 billion doses). It is estimated that about 65% of the world’s children have received at least one vaccine produced by Serum Institute. The vaccines manufactured by Serum Institute are prequalified by the World Health Organization in Geneva and are used in national immunization programs across approximately 140 countries, saving millions of lives worldwide.
