With the DC team and other employees based in San Francisco, operations are carried out at the intersection of public policy, business, analytics, strategic relationships, and alliance engagement. A "systems" perspective is brought to the work, focusing on regulatory issues faced by payment and delivery models, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers, as well as emerging trends in value-based payments.The company is led by founder Tom Koutsoumpas, who has decades of leadership experience in healthcare and is a national expert in health system transformation, with a particular focus on advanced illness and end-of-life care. Principals Jenny de Sa, Andrew McPherson, and Ray Quitno round out the leadership team, bringing substantial healthcare industry, government, association, and policy expertise across a range of issues. Our broader team includes 11 other talents with diverse and complementary backgrounds in law, public policy, business, economics, public health, operations, and strategic communications.
