Eli Lilly to Invest $3 Billion in Expanding Newly Acquired Wisconsin Facility to Boost Production of Mounjaro and Zepbound

Gelonghui December 6 | Eli Lilly and Company is investing $3 billion to expand the scale of its recently acquired facility in Wisconsin, USA, to increase the production of its best-selling diabetes and weight loss drug Mounjaro, as well as the weight loss injection Zepbound. Eli Lilly stated that construction on part of the expansion will begin next year. The company announced that, in recent years, it has unveiled factory development plans totaling over $23 billion, including a multi-billion-dollar expansion plan at its Indianapolis headquarters announced earlier this year.
