[December 18, Guangzhou]Hurun Research Institute and Guangzhou Nansha Jointly Release Hurun Future Unicorn Series — "Hurun Global Cheetahs Index 2024". The list identifies high-growth companies founded after 2000 that are most likely to reach a unicorn valuation of one billion US dollars within five years. This is the second release of the "Hurun Global Cheetahs Index" by the Hurun Research Institute.

The organizer introduced that the Hurun Research Institute referred to a large amount of information provided by world-top investment institutions, and repeatedly verified with professional investment databases, industry experts, media sources, and founders of Cheetah companies. Finally, 928 Cheetah companies were identified globally. Xbiome, as a representative of China's gut microbiome research, pharmaceuticals, and health enterprises, successfully made the list.
This year, global Cheetah enterprises are distributed across 37 countries and 243 cities, increasing by 181 companies from last year, marking a 24% growth.
