DragonFly™ Transcatheter Mitral Valve Clip System
The DragonFly™ Transcatheter Mitral Valve Clip System is the world's third mitral valve treatment product based on the TEER principle, and also China's first domestically produced product of its kind. It features innovative design and has achieved multiple technical optimizations and upgrades, receiving support from the "14th Five-Year Plan" National Key Research and Development Program.
DragonFly™ was approved to enter the NMPA Innovative Medical Device Special Review Process in March 2021; officially approved in China in November 2023, as the first domestically produced mitral valve clip system via femoral vein access; completed the first implantation post-market in China in January 2024; and completed the first confirmatory clinical enrollment in Europe in February 2024, successfully pioneering the way for domestically produced transcatheter mitral regurgitation treatment products in Europe. It has now successfully completed multiple confirmatory clinical enrollments in Europe, with footprints across Spain, Russia, Italy, and more, and has successfully expanded to 10 major medical centers across seven countries in Europe and the United States.
