Beijing News (Reporter Liu Xu) On December 27, VISHEE announced that the company would postpone the scheduled completion date of its fundraising investment projects, including the "R&D Center Construction Project," "Information Technology Construction Project," and "Rehabilitation Equipment Assembly and Testing Project," to December 31, 2025. The original planned completion date was December 2024.
The "R&D Center Construction Project," "Informatization Construction Project," and "Rehabilitation Equipment Assembly and Debugging Project" are planned to utilize raised funds of 197 million yuan, 44.75 million yuan, and 79.7778 million yuan, respectively. As of November 30, 2024, the cumulative investment of raised funds for these projects has reached 175 million yuan, 8.4127 million yuan, and 42.0073 million yuan, respectively.
Regarding the delay of the fundraising project, VISHEE stated that since the funds were raised, as of November 30, 2024, the main implementation site of the company's fundraising project—the Tixin Bridge Street area in Yuhuatai District, Nanjing City (east of Ningdan Road and west of the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway)—the "VISHEE Medical Headquarters R&D Economic Park" has completed all infrastructure construction. However, the current internal environment and supporting facilities have not yet reached a standard suitable for office use, requiring further internal decoration and office environment construction. Therefore, the original relocation plan for the company’s headquarters has been postponed to December 2025. Based on the overall development progress of the "VISHEE Medical Headquarters R&D Economic Park," the postponement of the headquarters relocation plan, and the actual investment progress of the company's "R&D Center Construction Project," "Information Technology Construction Project," and "Rehabilitation Equipment Assembly and Testing Project," the company plans to postpone the time for the projects to reach their intended usable state to December 31, 2025.
The aforementioned projects have experienced multiple delays and changes. In June 2022, VISHEE issued an announcement stating that it intended to terminate the construction of the rehabilitation equipment assembly and debugging project. The anticipated completion dates for the R&D center construction project and the informatization construction project, both funded by the raised investments, were postponed from September 2022 to September 2023.
VISHEE's Delayed Fundraising Projects Face SSE Inquiry. The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has requested VISHEE to explain whether the initial planning of the "Rehabilitation Equipment Assembly and Testing Project" was imprudent or inconsistent with the company’s actual operational needs, as well as whether the disclosures in the prospectus regarding this project were inaccurate or incomplete. In its response to the inquiry, VISHEE stated that it plans to continue constructing the Rehabilitation Equipment Assembly and Testing Project and will postpone the scheduled completion date to December 2024.
In April 2023, VISHEE announced plans to change the implementation entity, location, and method of two fundraising projects—the R&D Center Construction Project and the Information Technology Construction Project—citing reasons such as the planned relocation of the company's headquarters. The anticipated ready-for-use date of both projects was once again postponed from September 2023 to December 2024.
