On December 24, 2024, Abogen's ABO2203 (mRNA expressing CD3/CD19 bispecific antibody) IIT clinical trial for the treatment of autoimmune diseases was registered on Clinicaltrials.gov.

This IIT clinical trial is being conducted at Ruijin Hospital, with plans to enroll 26 patients with autoimmune diseases, including but not limited to systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic sclerosis, and idiopathic inflammatory myopathies.


Abogen's R&D pipeline focuses on oncology and anti-infectives, and the initiation of this IIT marks its official entry into the autoimmune field.
