Intelligent Finance APP News, Innovent Bio (01801) announced that the company and its wholly-owned subsidiaries (including INNOVENT BIOLOGICS(SUZHOU)CO LTD, Fortvita Biologics (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., and Fuyou Tai Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) have entered into a global exclusive collaboration and license agreement with F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd and Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. (collectively referred to as "Roche"). According to the agreement, the group grants Roche the global exclusive rights to develop, manufacture, and commercialize IBI3009 (a next-generation antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) candidate product targeting DLL3). IBI3009 has received clinical trial application (IND) approvals in Australia, China, and the United States, and completed the first patient dosing in a Phase I clinical study in December 2024. This collaboration aims to provide new treatment options for patients with advanced small cell lung cancer (SCLC).
According to the agreement, this group and Roche will jointly be responsible for the early development of the ADC candidate drug, and subsequent clinical development will be handled by Roche. The group will receive an upfront payment of 80 million US dollars, potential development and commercial milestone payments of up to 1 billion US dollars, and tiered royalties of up to the mid-double digits based on global annual net sales in the future.
