These pharmaceutical companies will mainly use the funds to advance drug clinical trials, among other initiatives.
 
  AusperBio: Completed $73 Million Series B Financing
 
On December 27, AusperBio announced the completion of a $73 million Series B financing round. This round was led by H&K Capital, with participation from Sherpa Healthcare Partners, CDH VGC, and a global industrial investment institution. Additionally, previous investors Qiming Venture Partners, InnoPinnacle Fund, and Vivo Capital also contributed follow-on investments.
 
Public information shows that AusperBio is an innovative biopharmaceutical company with a global outlook and in the clinical stage. Relying on its proprietary Med-Oligo™ ASO platform and highly efficient targeted delivery technology, the company focuses on transformative ASO therapies, applied in areas such as viral infections, metabolic diseases, genetic disorders, and immune-related conditions.
 
According to reports, this round of financing will mainly be used to advance the Chinese and international clinical trials of the core small nucleic acid innovative drug AHB-137, as well as the preparations for early commercialization. In addition, the funds will also support the expansion of the company's new R&D pipeline and the continuous development and construction of the team.
 
  Huaota: Completed 200 Million Yuan Financing
 
On December 25, Huahai Pharmaceutical announced that its subsidiary, Huaota Biopharmaceutical, had completed a 200 million yuan financing round, exclusively invested by Haizheng Venture Capital. Prior to the investment, Huaota was valued at 3 billion yuan, with the financing of 200 million yuan increasing its post-investment valuation to 3.2 billion yuan.
 
After years of development, Huaota Biopharma has established a rich R&D pipeline covering various drug formats such as monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, fusion proteins, and ADCs. The company focuses on developing novel biologics in the fields of oncology and autoimmune diseases, with 11 projects currently in clinical stages. Among them, the IL-36R monoclonal antibody for treating pustular psoriasis has entered a pivotal clinical trial, while the PD-L1/VEGF bispecific antibody for cancer treatment is in Phase II clinical trials.
 
  Eli Radiopharma: Completes Angel Round Financing Worth Hundreds of Millions
 
On December 24, Eli Radiopharma announced the completion of an angel round of financing worth hundreds of millions of RMB. This round of financing was jointly led by Tylon Investment and Originate Ventures, with participation from QingSong Capital, TaiYu Investment, Mint Venture Partners, and Lula Capital.
 
Eli Radiopharma is a radiopharmaceutical company dedicated to the innovation and development of radiopharmaceuticals and high-tech applications, focusing on the fields of oncology and neuroscience.
 
It is reported that the company's current round of financing will be used to build its radiopharmaceutical innovation platform, accelerate the progress of clinical projects, and expand the team size. Eli Radiopharma focuses on the two fields of oncology and neuroscience, driving radiopharmaceutical innovation by exploring new targets, new molecules, new radionuclides, and new indications.
 
  IMMUNE CELL: Completed nearly 200 million RMB in strategic financing
 
On December 24, IMMUNE CELL announced the completion of a nearly 200 million yuan Pre-D strategic financing round. This round was jointly invested by the Beijing Changping Industrial Development Investment Fund and the Beijing Medical and Health Industry Investment Fund. Notably, this is another round of financing IMMUNE CELL has secured since the C+ round in April 2023.
 
Public information shows that IMMUNE CELL is committed to the clinical research of multi-pipeline gene therapy products using viruses as vectors, such as CAR-T, PIDs, and RPE65, and applies the CD30 target to the development of CAR-T products for refractory Hodgkin's lymphoma.
 
This round of financing will be used to further support the construction of IMMUNE CELL's ATMPs CDMO commercial production base, promote technological iteration, enhance the service capabilities of the CDMO global service network, strengthen the company’s core competitiveness in the ATMPs drug technology track, and build a comprehensive CDMO service platform covering preclinical research, product development, and commercial production.
