Recently, Atavistik Bio announced a research collaboration agreement with Pfizer to accelerate the discovery of novel precision allosteric small molecule therapies, addressing significant unmet medical needs.

Atavistik Bio is a biotechnology company focused on developing precision allosteric small molecule therapies, dedicated to addressing significant unmet patient needs, with a particular focus on the field of oncology.The company has a new pipeline for the development of allosteric small molecule therapies. By leveraging the potential of allosteric modulation, it is expected to enhance the efficacy and tolerability of drugs.Its first candidate drug, ATV-1601, is a selective allosteric inhibitor targeting solid tumors, and is expected to enter clinical research in early 2025.
Atavistik Bio's proprietary AMPS platform is a highly integrated discovery engine that combines proprietary computational and experimental techniques to rapidly identify functional hidden binding sites across a wide range of target classes.By leveraging insights from these novel allosteric chemicals, the platform can design small-molecule drugs to target traditionally difficult-to-drug targets. Moreover, the versatility of this platform also allows Atavistik Bio to accelerate the development of breakthrough drugs in any therapeutic area.

According to the terms of the cooperation,Atavistik Bio will leverage its proprietary AMPS platform to identify novel allosteric small molecules for two undisclosed targets selected by Pfizer.At the end of the research period, Pfizer will have the option to obtain a license for these R&D projects.The financial terms of the partnership have not been disclosed.
