Recently, GE Healthcare has announced the latest news,Its imaging-guided vascular angiography system, Allia IGS Pulse Polar Heart, has successfully obtained approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). This milestone marks that the system will be applied in China's medical market, providing medical professionals with a new interventional treatment tool.
Allia IGS Pulse Polar Heart showcases numerous technological innovations. The imaging chain of this system features 10mhu, enabling medical professionals to obtain clearer imaging support for more accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Additionally, the system introduces a revolutionary Micro-Control surgical experience. During actual surgical procedures, doctors can appreciate the system's ease of operation and precision, which not only enhances surgical efficiency but also significantly improves surgical safety.
Allia IGS Pulse Receives FDA Approval for the First Time in October 2023. GE Healthcare emphasized that this product provides excellent imaging capabilities at the right dose, marking a major innovation. Additionally, the system offers a personalized workspace to meet the specific needs and preferences of different operators, reflecting GE Healthcare's strong emphasis on user experience.
As part of the new imaging chain, the Allia IGS Pulse Polar Heart features a monopolar X-ray tube for capturing images during interventional procedures. According to GE Healthcare, this is the first angiography system of its kind with such capabilities, offering powerful and quiet imaging functionality. Additionally, the system has a small footprint, helping clinicians achieve steep angles for better visualization of coronary anatomy.
GE Healthcare has also integrated the latest version of MyIQ technology into the Allia IGS Pulse. This technology allows clinicians to choose their preferred image appearance from four different imaging styles, further enhancing the system's flexibility and practicality. For large obese patients with a BMI greater than 30, the system is still capable of providing high-quality imaging. Its reduced pulse width and unparalleled X-ray peak power help minimize motion blur, allowing for clearer visualization of vessels and devices.
In addition, the Allia IGS Pulse Polar Heart also utilizes the next-generation AutoRight Plus intelligent imaging chain based on AI. This technology can optimize seven parameters in real time, including focal spot shape, further enhancing the system's imaging quality and surgical efficiency.
