BSBE Plans to Acquire MXB

Recently, Beijing Strong Biotechnologies, Inc（"BSBE") has announced that it plans to purchase 95.55% shares of Maixin Biotechnologies ("MXB") jointly with China National Pharmaceutical Investment Co. Ltd ("Sinopharm"). BSBE will hold 65.55% shares of MXB and Sinopharm will hold 30%. After this acquirement, MXB will become the holding subsidiary of BSBE. The final price of this transaction will refer to the asset issued by the appraisal agency and shall be determined by the parties to the transaction through negotiation.

BSBE is a Chinese leading provider of in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) products and services. BSBE was established in 2001, focusing on R&D, manufacturing, and sales of IVD products which reach to international advanced level. The company is engaged in developing the best IVD testing platform. And till now, BSBE has the system of clinical biochemistry testing, coagulation testing, and blood typing. Due to the steady progression and rich experience in the years, BSBE has a worldwide sales and marketing network.

BSBE is focused on the R&D of IVD products and has a high qualified R&D team. Through the acquisition, BSBE's biological business will cover the field of clinical diagnosis of tumor cell screening and tumor tissue sections after surgery, expand its pipeline of pathological diagnostic reagents and instruments, improve R&D capabilities and marketing network, and consolidate its leading position in the IVD industry.

Founded in 1993 with a registered capital of 50 million yuan, MXB is a biomedical company focusing on the research, development, and production of immunohistochemical products. The company's business covers tumor pathological diagnosis, immunocytochemical diagnosis, molecular pathological diagnosis, and precise medical diagnosis.
