AusperBio Announces Completion and Unblinding of Phase IIb Clinical Trial for AHB-137, a Potential Functional Cure for Chronic Hepatitis B

On February 12, 2025, AusperBio (Ausper Biopharma Co., Ltd. and AusperBio Therapeutics Inc.) announced:AusperBio's core research product, the antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) candidate drug AHB-137, has achieved significant clinical progress.，A Solid Step Forward Towards Functional Cure of Chronic Hepatitis B (CHB).

In the current Phase IIb clinical trial (CTR20242026), AHB-137 is being evaluated under two treatment regimens, Group A and Group B. The specific regimens are as follows:

Group A: AHB-137 300mg administration for 24 weeks;

Group B: 8 weeks of double-blind placebo administration first, followed by AHB-137 300mg for 16 weeks.

Each group recruited 32 patients. Currently, the dosing for both groups has been completed, and the study has officially been unblinded.
