On February 13, 2025, MSD registered a Phase III clinical trial, TroFuse-022, on Clinicaltrials.gov for its new Trop2 ADC drug, Rucosartuzumab (MK-2870, SKB264), to treat patients with platinum-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer. This marks the 11th global Phase III clinical trial MSD has initiated around Rucosartuzumab.

TroFuse-022 plans to enroll 770 patients with platinum-sensitive, metastatic ovarian cancer who have undergone second-line platinum-based chemotherapy, with preliminary completion expected by 2030.

MSD has cumulatively initiated 11 global Phase III clinical trials around Lecanemab, covering multiple tumor types including non-small cell lung cancer, endometrial cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, cervical cancer, and ovarian cancer.

Trofuse-022: Platinum-based chemotherapy-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer;
Trofuse-023: Metastatic squamous non-small cell lung cancer.
