Oncology is the core driver of Johnson & Johnson's performance, with this segment generating a full-year revenue of $17.828 billion, representing a year-on-year decrease of 1.2%.
Roche achieved revenue of 60.495 billion Swiss francs (approximately 66.9 billion US dollars) in 2024, representing a year-on-year increase of 7%. The company has a total of 17 drugs with annual sales exceeding 1 billion US dollars: the ophthalmology bispecific antibody drug Faricimab (Vabysmo) showed strong growth, with its sales increasing by 68% over the previous year; followed by the subcutaneous injection Pertuzumab and Trastuzumab combination Phesgo, which achieved a 62% increase in sales for the whole of last year.

AbbVie's total revenue for the full year 2024 was $56.334 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%. Among this, the autoimmune business contributed $26.682 billion in revenue to the company, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%; the oncology and neuroscience businesses achieved sales growth of 10.8% and 16.6%, respectively, reaching $6.555 billion and $8.999 billion; the aesthetics and ophthalmology businesses slightly declined, with full-year sales of $5.176 billion and $2.242 billion, respectively.
AstraZeneca's total revenue for the full year 2024 reached $54.073 billion, a year-on-year increase of 21%. The oncology business performed strongly, generating revenue of $22.353 billion, a year-on-year increase of 24%, accounting for 41% of total revenue; the respiratory and immunology business achieved annual sales growth of 25% to $7.876 billion. The other three major business segments: vaccines and immunity, rare diseases, cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic diseases, realized revenues of $1.462 billion, $8.768 billion, and $12.517 billion respectively in 2024; representing year-on-year growth of 8%, 16%, and 20% respectively.
Novartis' total revenue for the full year 2024 reached $50.317 billion, representing a 12% year-on-year increase. Of this, revenue from the Chinese market amounted to $3.9 billion, marking a 21% year-on-year growth. The four major therapeutic areas — Cardiovascular-Renal-Metabolic, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Oncology — generated revenues of $8.576 billion, $9.293 billion, $4.750 billion, and $14.740 billion respectively, with year-on-year growth rates of 36%, 21%, 31%, and 16% respectively.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Achieves $48.3 Billion in Revenue in 2024, a 7% Increase Year-over-Year
Eli Lilly's 2024 financial report shows that the company's total revenue for the previous year was $45.043 billion, a year-on-year increase of 32%; net profit was $10.59 billion, a year-on-year increase of 106%. Among this, the combined sales of tirzepatide (including the weight loss version and the blood sugar reduction version) reached $16.466 billion, accounting for more than 36% of total revenue.
In 2024, Sanofi achieved a total annual revenue of 41.081 billion euros (approximately 43.028 billion US dollars), representing a year-on-year increase of 11.3%.
