Illumina Announces Layoffs and Sees Stock Price Drop Below $100 Amid Strategic Restructuring

According to Genomeweb citing data from the U.S. WARN: Earlier this month, Illumina cut 96 jobs at its San Diego headquarters.

The spokesperson declined to disclose the specific number of layoffs but indicated that this was not a large-scale reduction.

"While the company is laying off staff, it is also creating new job positions."

On the same day, Roche SBX was released (see P1).

Affected by multiple factors, Illumina's stock price fell by 5.63%, breaking below the $100 mark to close at $97.2 per share.
