TRIMTECH Therapeutics Announces Completion of $31 Million (£25 Million) Seed FinancingThis financing was led by Cambridge Innovation Capital (CIC) and SV Health Investors' Dementia Discovery Fund (DDF), with participation from M Ventures and Pfizer Ventures.Other investors include Eli Lilly and Company, MP Healthcare Venture Management (MPH), Cambridge Enterprise Ventures, and Start Codon.

TRIMTECH Therapeutics is leveraging the unique properties of the E3 ubiquitin ligase TRIM21 toTRIMTACDevelopment of drugs in the form of degradable molecules.This drug aims to selectively and effectively degrade protein aggregates associated with various diseases, for which current protein degradation therapies often struggle to achieve significant effects, thereby offering new hope to patients with limited treatment options.

This investment will support the further development of the company's pipeline.TRIMTECHPipeline includes its polymer selectivityTRIMTAC Degrader, which is a potent agent capable of crossing the blood-brain barriermolecules, developing drugs for the treatment of severe neurodegenerative and inflammatory diseases, including Alzheimer's disease and Huntington's disease.
The company was co-founded by CIC and DDF, along with their resident entrepreneur Dr. Damian Crowther, academic co-founder Dr. Leo James of the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, and Dr. Will McEwan of the UK Dementia Research Institute at the University of Cambridge.
