Multi-vessel Coronary Artery Tree CAG-IMR Results

Medical Imaging Product Developer
Coronary Microvascular Disease (CMVD) is an important cause of myocardial ischemia, with approximately 40% of patients with non-obstructive coronary heart disease experiencing microcirculatory dysfunction. The Index of Microcirculatory Resistance (IMR) is a key indicator for the quantitative assessment of coronary microcirculatory function, providing crucial reference for the early prediction, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of coronary artery diseases. However, traditional IMR measurement relies on invasive pressure wires, which have limitations such as long procedural time (requiring multiple saline injections), high material costs (with a single wire costing over ten thousand yuan), complex operation, and the inability to simultaneously evaluate multiple vessels, significantly restricting its clinical application.
To solve this problem, RaysightMed, in collaboration with the Cardiology Department of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, published the latest research results in the international journal "Frontiers in Medicine": CAG-IMR (coronary angiography-based IMR), a non-invasive microcirculatory resistance evaluation index independently developed by RaysightMed based on coronary angiography, which measures IMR values.Accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity reached 95.0%, 92.7%, and 95.6%, respectively.(With pressure wire IMR as the gold standard, critical value 25U), retrospective study data covering 139 patients and 201 vessels,Reach a leading level in similar indicators, verifying that the CAG-IMR technology possesses precise, efficient performance and internationally leading clinical value.

AI + Intelligent Simulation Dual-Engine Driven, Promoting Non-Invasive Precision Diagnosis and Treatment Innovation
This study focuses on the two core demands of "non-invasiveness" and "precision" in the assessment of coronary microvascular function, utilizing CAG-IMR, a functional index based on angiographic images independently developed by RaysightMed. This index generates vascular contours through a deep learning algorithm, creates multi-branch 3D coronary models using cross-sequence stitching technology, and completes pressure and IMR calculations with intelligent simulation technology.

Multi-vessel Coronary Artery Tree CAG-IMR Results
The application of this series of innovative technologies has enabled CAG-IMR to demonstrate significant advantages in multiple aspects. Compared with invasive guidewire measurement technology,CAG-IMR measurement without pressure wire saves time and cost, reduces the burden on clinicians and patient suffering.; Secondly, compared with other non-invasive methods,RaysightMed Develops CAG-IMR to Evaluate IMR of Multiple Coronary Vessels at Once, Improving Diagnostic EfficiencyIn addition, CAG-IMR can utilize RaysightMed's disposable pressure sensor during the calculation process to obtain patient-specific pressure.Significantly Improve the Accuracy of IMR。
Particularly noteworthy is that microcirculatory resistance, in principle, is not affected by conditions such as epicardial arteries, heart rate, or resting vascular tone. Current IMR technologies based on angiographic images all require obtaining the fractional flow reserve (FFR) first, and the acquisition of FFR may be influenced by epicardial stenosis, thereby affecting the accuracy of IMR calculations.RaysightMed's self-developed CAG-IMR adopts an exclusive patented algorithm, effectively solving this problem and making its calculation results more accurate and reliable.

Research and Mission in Sync: Cutting-Edge Technology Reshapes Cardiovascular Diagnosis and Treatment Pathways
The publication of this study not only provides cardiovascular doctors worldwide with a more precise and efficient microcirculation assessment solution, offering coronary heart disease patients globally safer, more user-friendly, and personalized diagnostic and treatment options, but also highlights the technological innovation strength of RaysightMed. The successful validation of the CAG-IMR technology marksRaysightMed Builds "Epicardium + Microcirculation" Full-chain Functional Assessment System Recognized by the Industry, Achieving Another Milestone in the Field of "Morphology + Function" Integrated Diagnostics。
Currently,RaysightMedThe FFR product of cardiac angiography has been equipped with the capability to assess IMR microcirculation function and offers two advantages. First, it enables personalized assessment by calculating microcirculatory resistance tailored to each patient's actual conditions (blood pressure, blood flow velocity, vascular lumen), mitigating the negative impact of FFR on IMR input conditions. Second,Good repeatability,For images taken at the same time for the same patient, there will not be significant differences in the calculation results of microcirculatory resistance.
