Innovative Targeted Cancer Drug Developer

Recently, the BioValley 2025 (5th) Organoid Conference grandly opened in Shanghai. SIGNET, with its breakthrough innovations in organoid technology, was awarded the "Organoid Technology Breakthrough Award." This honor highly recognizes SIGNET's technical strength in organoid platform technology and fully demonstrates its outstanding achievements in new target discovery and drug efficacy evaluation.

SIGNET, relying on its unique organoid disease model platform, uses 3D organoid disease models to precisely simulate patient tumor characteristics in vitro, providing a novel solution for drug development. Organoids are cell clusters formed by 3D culturing of stem cells or organ cells in vitro, capable of highly reproducing the structure and function of real organs. By combining organoids with traditional animal models, SIGNET fully integrates the dual advantages of conventional and cutting-edge technologies, offering a more systematic, comprehensive, and efficient solution for drug development.
Dr. Haisheng Zhang, Founder and CEO of SIGNET, was also invited to deliver a keynote speech at the conference, focusing on "The Role of Organoids + AI in Disease Modeling and New Drug Development." Dr. Zhang elaborated on how organoid technology empowers new target discovery and drug efficacy validation by highly reproducing disease characteristics, addressing potential issues of clinical trials at the preclinical stage, thereby significantly improving the success rate and efficiency of clinical trials. He specifically mentioned that, based on this platform, Signet Therapeutics successfully developed SIGX1094, the world’s first targeted drug for diffuse gastric cancer. Currently, the drug has entered Phase I clinical trials and has successively received Orphan Drug Designation and Fast Track Designation from the U.S. FDA, bringing new hope for patients. This innovative model provides a novel approach for drug development and has gained significant attention and recognition from experts and industry peers at the conference.

Looking ahead, SIGNET will continue to deepen its expertise in organoid technology, empowering the development and implementation of more innovative drug pipelines to provide breakthrough treatment options for patients worldwide.
About BioValley Organoid Conference

The 3D Cell Culture and Organoid Symposium hosted by BioValley is one of the earliest conferences in China focusing on the organoid field. The conference has successfully held five sessions, attracting over 3,000 industry peers, more than 200 domestic and international exhibitors, and 150 professional speakers, establishing an efficient and specialized communication platform. This year's conference continues to focus on cutting-edge research achievements in organoids and organ-on-a-chip fields, exploring their innovative applications and development prospects in biomedicine, regenerative medicine, and precision medicine. The event brings together top experts and scholars from around the world to share the latest research findings, discuss technical challenges and breakthrough directions, and collectively anticipate future trends in the industry.
About SIGNET
SIGNET is a global pioneer in the "organoid + AI" drug development model, recognized as a specialized and innovative enterprise in Shenzhen and certified as a national high-tech enterprise. The company originated on the campus of Harvard University and officially established its presence in Shenzhen by the end of 2020, having since secured nearly 220 million yuan in funding and project grants. Currently, the company has four drug pipelines, with the lead pipeline developing SIGX1094, the world’s first targeted therapy for diffuse gastric cancer. It has obtained IND approvals from both the U.S. FDA and China’s NMPA, and received Orphan Drug Designation and Fast Track Designation from the U.S. FDA, advancing into Phase I clinical trials.
SIGNET is not only the phonetic translation of Signet but also adheres to the vision of "Full of Hope, Investigating Things to Gain Knowledge." The company leverages organoid disease models that closely resemble patients' genomic characteristics for critical roles in drug efficacy evaluation and novel target discovery. Combined with AI-powered screening, synthesis, and optimization of small-molecule compounds, SIGNET develops first-in-class innovative targeted drugs. The company has a 1200㎡ R&D facility and a 500㎡ experimental animal housing area. SIGNET's organoid platform not only serves its own drug pipeline but also actively empowers large pharmaceutical enterprises in new drug development. Collaborative partners include Shenzhen Second People's Hospital, the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen BioRay Pharma, and Genuine Biotech, contributing to the birth of more innovative drugs.
