  【Pharmaceutical Network Industry DynamicsIn recent years, the financing enthusiasm in China's innovative pharmaceuticals sector has continued to rise. In February, there were a total of 80 financing events in China's healthcare primary market, with a disclosed total amount of 4.38 billion yuan. Since March this year, at least 17 pharmaceutical and medical device companies have received new rounds of financing, with several companies securing over 100 million yuan in funding.
 
  Shenzhen Forward Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. Completes New Financing Round of RMB 100 Million
 
On March 19, Forward Pharmaceuticals completed a new round of financing worth hundreds of millions, led by Wuhan Optics Valley Sci-Tech Innovation Industry Investment Fund under Wuhan Hi-Tech Group. Together, they are driving innovative pharmaceutical companies to break through technical barriers and accelerate the research, development, and commercialization process of domestically produced anti-cancer drugs in China.
 
Shenzhen Forward Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. focuses on the research and development of a new generation of small-molecule innovative drugs for cancer treatment. It has currently built up a product portfolio that includes more than 10 Class 1 innovative drugs in China. Among them, two core products, FWD1509 and FWD1802, which respectively target the treatment of lung cancer and breast cancer, have enormous market potential.
 
  Econn Bio Completes Nearly 100 Million Yuan B+ Round Financing
 
On March 15, Aikenuo Biotech announced the completion of a nearly RMB 100 million Series B+ financing round. The funds raised will be used to accelerate the clinical-stage development of drugs targeting inflammatory bowel disease, psoriasis, non-infectious uveitis, and acute graft-versus-host disease, among other inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. Reportedly, Aikenuo is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focusing on "regulated cell death" molecules and related pathogenic mechanisms. Currently, the company has three products in the clinical stage: AC-101, a selective RIPK2 inhibitor; AC-201, a selective TYK2/JAK1 inhibitor; and AC-003, a selective RIPK1 inhibitor, which are under development for treating ulcerative colitis, psoriasis, and acute graft-versus-host disease, respectively.
 
  Rona Therapeutics Completes $25 Million Financing
 
On March 14, Rona Therapeutics announced the completion of its Pre-B round of financing, raising $25 million. Established in 2021, Rona Therapeutics is dedicated to developing nucleic acid drugs to address complex diseases such as hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia. Currently, the company has advanced two pipelines into clinical research stages: a novel siRNA therapy targeting PCSK9 and an siRNA drug targeting the APOC3 gene. This round of financing will support Rona Therapeutics in advancing its proprietary delivery and chemical modification platform technologies and further expanding its siRNA clinical pipeline layout in cardiometabolic, weight management, and other fields.
 
  Insilico Medicine Completes $110 Million Series E Financing
 
On March 13, Insilico Medicine announced the completion of its $110 million Series E financing. Public information shows that the company focuses on unmet medical needs in areas such as cancer, fibrosis, immunology, central nervous system diseases, and aging-related conditions, with 10 drug candidates already approved for clinical trials. This round of financing will be used to advance the clinical validation of Insilico Medicine's core drug candidate for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and accelerate the exploration of other self-developed and collaboratively developed drug pipelines.
