The Digital Intelligence Education Practice and Innovation Platform of Wuhan University is a significant advancement in promoting the development of educational informatization and intelligence, as well as creating a new ecosystem for human-computer collaborative education. Currently, the platform has released over 40 courses and more than 2,000 AI Notes, serving thousands of teachers and students, and establishing an AI teaching and training base that covers all digital intelligence disciplines.

Wuhan University earnestly studies and implements the important expositions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on education, deeply carries out the national education digitalization strategy action, and leverages the university's unique strengths. It continuously strengthens efforts in overall planning, teaching reform, and technological support, accelerating the transformation and development of education digitalization. By promoting education modernization through digitalization, it fosters new momentum for the high-quality development of the university.
Strengthen overall design and innovate training concepts.Release of the "Wuhan University Digital Intelligence Education White Paper," establishing the overall guideline of "systematic design, comprehensive planning, categorized cultivation, and steady advancement." It proposes the "five-entity-driven" digital intelligence education construction concept, emphasizing full coverage with students as the main body, university-wide course selection with courses as the object, university-wide resource utilization with resources as the carrier, fully digital intelligence-focused teaching as the essence, and complete integration with majors as the entity. A coordinated design of the digital intelligence education application matrix is provided to offer theoretical guidance and practical frameworks for building an integrated digital intelligence talent cultivation system. The formulation of the "Digital Intelligence+" Undergraduate Talent Cultivation Plan (2024 Edition) incorporates the "Comprehensive Enlightenment Plan for Digital Intelligence Education" as a key component of the "Top-notch Innovative Talent Cultivation Initiative," systematically deploying digital intelligence empowerment in top-tier innovative talent development. Guidelines on topics such as "construction of digital intelligence education support systems," "student use of educational practice innovation platforms," and "evaluation of artificial intelligence literacy" have been developed to provide robust support for core aspects like digital intelligence education reform and digital intelligence talent cultivation. An innovative proposal of the "Four Authentic Computing" construction concept emphasizes training students' ability to use authentic data, learn real models, experience genuine processing, and solve actual problems by enhancing true data (data), true models (algorithms), true processing (computing power), and true scenarios (problem-solving). In collaboration with 31 universities, research institutes, and well-known enterprises, the "Digital Intelligence Education Practice Innovation Alliance" was established, creating mechanisms for resource sharing and exchange along with a real-time resource-sharing platform. Unified, mature technical operation standards, practical teaching standards, and operational management standards were formulated to deeply explore innovative development paths for higher education digital intelligence practices, further promoting cooperation, teaching innovation, and achievement transformation, providing strong support for innovative digital intelligence talent cultivation.
Empower Teaching Reform, Strengthen Course Foundations.Promote the cross-integration of digital intelligence education with various disciplines, assist in the transformation and upgrading of specialty development, and introduce nine emerging interdisciplinary specialties such as artificial intelligence, smart water conservancy, and intelligent construction under the "Digital Intelligence+" initiative. Establish 23 "Digital Intelligence+" emerging interdisciplinary experimental classes, including intelligent electrical engineering and smart territorial spatial planning, injecting new momentum into the transformation and upgrading of specialty development. Develop a digital intelligence education curriculum system by introducing one compulsory general education course at the undergraduate level titled "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" and offering 16 core courses in digital intelligence education, such as "Introduction to Data Science." Integrate elements of data science and cutting-edge knowledge into the training programs of all academic disciplines across the university, widely covering different types of courses like public foundation, inter-college public foundation, and elective general education courses, forming a distinctive "1+16+N" curriculum construction system and basic training framework. Deepen integrated training by actively piloting the "secondary-to-tertiary education linkage," collaborating with some high schools to establish seven advanced placement courses and the "Digital Intelligence Talent Experimental Class." Continuously implement the Strong Foundation Plan, the Talent Plan, and the Peak Climbing Plan. Promote multi-stage integrated training from high school through undergraduate and graduate levels via modular course selection based on "classification + gradient," flexible course design featuring "integration + innovation," and differentiated teaching methods centered on "foundation + scenarios."
Strengthen technological support and promote the integration of research and application.Comprehensively integrate knowledge resources, teaching resources, practical training cases, computing environments, AI teaching assistants, and other elements to build a digital intelligence experimental innovation teaching platform that integrates talent cultivation, scientific research, innovation and entrepreneurship, and social service functions, effectively improving teaching quality and promoting teaching innovation. The platform focuses on virtual campuses, digital intelligence teaching, digital intelligence competitions, and digital intelligence training, including modules such as the AI Note Case Plaza and Science Innovation Experimental Field, providing teachers and students with innovative platforms and training environments for artificial intelligence model design, forming a digital intelligence knowledge and talent community. It supports teachers in conducting homework critiques, case promotion, and teaching evaluations, facilitates students' self-directed learning, hands-on practice, and knowledge sharing, further achieving "learning and practicing integration" and effectively promoting students' transformation from single-level knowledge-based learning to multi-level professional, skill-based, innovative, interdisciplinary, and practical learning. Relying on artificial intelligence technology, lead the development of the "Luojia Online AI Smart Teaching Center," deeply integrating graduation requirements, training objectives, course goals, and the teaching process outlined in the talent cultivation plan, providing efficient and accurate data feedback for teachers and students, and enhancing teaching management levels. Create AI teaching intelligent agents based on three levels—school, major, and course—to provide teachers and students with smart services such as online classrooms, virtual classrooms, intelligent tutoring, learning path design, and adaptive learning systems, supporting students' professional learning, scientific research innovation, practical work experience, and helping improve the quality of talent cultivation.
