On April 20, the "Yazhou Bay Biomanufacturing Project Roadshow Event," jointly hosted by the China Electronics Information Industry Development Research Institute (CCID), Huada共赢 (Shenzhen) Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd., and China Merchants Sanya Deep Sea Technology City Development Co., Ltd., was successfully held. With the theme of "Technology Leadership · Integrated Innovation," the event attracted representatives from multiple biomanufacturing companies to gather and discuss the development opportunities for the biomanufacturing industry in the Hainan Free Trade Port. Zelixir focused on the green manufacturing pathway of "AI + enzymatic synthesis of vanillin," rewriting traditional chemical engineering models. Refinecare Biotech addressed clinical diagnostic challenges with its "multi-pathogen precision detection technology." Nacobiotech drove innovation in bio-based materials through a "synthetic biology platform," replacing highly polluting traditional processes. These four projects cover key areas of biomanufacturing, demonstrating technological breakthroughs and industrial transformation potential.
As the core area for the technology industry in the Hainan Free Trade Port, the Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City High-Tech Zone has attracted over a hundred biopharmaceutical companies through multi-faceted empowerment via "policy + capital + technology." 1. Hymes (Chongqing) Medical Biotechnology Co., Ltd., with over a decade of focus on recombinant keratin research, has achieved large-scale mass production of recombinant keratin for the first time globally using synthetic biology technology.
