Yang Wenbing of Shixi Biotech to Speak at CGCT 2025 on AI-Driven RNA Single-Base Editing for Therapeutics

Ph.D. and Postdoctoral Fellow from Sun Yat-sen University, with over 10 years of experience in RNA editing technology research. In 2020, published an original irCLASH technology article in Nature Structural & Molecular Biology, which was the first to globally reveal the high-efficiency substrate structure and editing mechanism of the human endogenous RNA editing enzyme ADAR protein. In 2025, published the RNA editing system MIRROR based on endogenous ADAR substrate structure in Nature Biotechnology, providing a theoretical basis for the application of RNA editing technology in clinical drug development.

Current Role: Director of R&D at RecoRNA, primarily responsible for the construction of RecoRNA's RNA editing platform, drug design and screening, pharmacological efficacy research, and patent strategy. Has obtained authorization for three national invention patents and submitted over ten additional patent applications.
