Minimally Invasive®MicroPort CRM Launches World's First MRI-Compatible Hybrid Pacemaker System, Receives EU CE Mark. The system utilizes minimally invasive techniques.®The ALIZEA™ Series Pacemakers of Cardiac Rhythm Management can be used with some MRI-compatible third-party pacing leads to form a complete MRI conditional safe pacing system.

ALIZEA™, BOREA™, and CELEA™ pacemakers have a volume of only 11cc, with an expected battery life of up to 13 years, and are integrated with minimally invasive technology.®Advanced functions such as AutoMRI™, SafeR™, and SAM™ developed by Cardiac Rhythm Management

Clamart, France — Recently, MicroPort®Cardiac Rhythm Management (MicroPort®MicroPort CRM announced that its globally first MRI-compatible hybrid pacemaker system has received EU CE certification. This breakthrough technology marks a significant advancement in the field of arrhythmia treatment, enabling the pacemaker system to meet MRI imaging safety requirements while providing doctors with greater freedom in lead selection, further enhancing clinical application flexibility and patient welfare.

The pacemaker system approved for marketing this time is the ALIZEA™ series, including the ALIZEA™, BOREA™, and CELEA™ pacemakers, which can be used in conjunction with certain MRI-compatible third-party pacemaker leads to form a complete MRI-conditional safe pacing system. The system also supports left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP), achieving comprehensive breakthroughs in safety, adaptability, and innovation.

The ALIZEA™, BOREA™, and CELEA™ pacemakers have a volume of only 11cc, an expected battery life of up to 13 years, and are integrated with minimally invasive technology.®Advanced Functions Developed for Cardiac Rhythm Management Include: AutoMRI™, which enables the pacemaker to automatically switch to a pre-set MRI mode when the patient undergoes an MRI scan, facilitating magnetic resonance imaging with field strengths of 1.5/3.0T, and allowing pre-programming of the MRI mode up to ten days in advance; SafeR™, a pacing mode that maintains natural atrioventricular conduction, effectively reducing unnecessary ventricular pacing—clinical data shows this mode significantly lowers the risk of atrial fibrillation, hospitalization due to heart failure, and cardiac death; SAM™, a feature that monitors sleep apnea, helping to uncover conditions such as atrial fibrillation and other difficult-to-diagnose diseases. Additionally, all three pacemakers are equipped with Bluetooth technology and can be remotely monitored via the SmartView Connect™ home monitoring system, eliminating the need for patients to visit clinics for routine checks, thereby reducing the burden on both patients and the healthcare system.

We are proud to set a new standard for the industry. This globally pioneering technology not only provides doctors with more flexibility in lead selection but also ensures that patients can benefit from the proven safety of MRI-compatible systems.
