Intelligent Finance APP learned on May 12, according to market news, METiS TechBio is reportedly considering a $200 million IPO in Hong Kong. Since its establishment, METiS TechBio has completed nearly $300 million in financing, with previous investors including Sequoia China, China Life Equity, PICC Equity, and FiveSource Capital.

It is reported that METiS TechBio focuses on the technical layout of "AI + drug delivery", creating a multi-organ targeted delivery system to accelerate product development in fields such as CGT and nucleic acid drugs. Currently, the company has independently developed three "AI + technology platforms": an AI-driven nucleic acid delivery system design platform (AiLNP), an AI-driven mRNA sequence design platform (AiRNA), and an AI-driven small molecule formulation design platform (AiTEM).

In terms of commercialization, METiS TechBio mainly focuses on self-developed pipelines and collaborative pipeline development. The pipelines cover nucleic acid drugs primarily based on small molecules and mRNA, targeting indications such as cancer, central nervous system diseases, and liver diseases. Among them, the fastest progressing small molecule pipeline advanced to Phase III clinical development in June of last year; the mRNA immunotherapy pipeline will also enter clinical trials this year.
