36Kr learned that OYMotion has recently completed a nearly 100-million-yuan B++ round of financing. This round of financing was jointly invested by Infiniti Capital, Zhejiang Development Assets Management Co., Ltd under Zhejiang Provincial State-owned Capital Operation Co., Ltd, and Vantage Capital. AscendK Capital served as the long-term financial advisor.
It is reported that this is another new financing round quickly closed by OYMotion within three months after its billion-yuan B+ round at the beginning of this year. The proceeds from this round will be used to accelerate R&D investment in the dexterous hand technology field, promote the launch of new products, and support capacity building and market expansion.
OYMotion was founded in 2015, focusing on the technical research and development of robotics and brain science, and has built a self-developed platform that integrates "robotics-AI algorithms-neural interfaces."
Currently, OYMotion has launched several hand-type robotic products for sale, including three core product lines: the ROhand series of dexterous hands for embodied robots and industrial automation scenarios, the OHand™ intelligent bionic hand for amputees, and finger joint exoskeleton products for hand movement disorders caused by nerve function damage.
OYMotion founder Hua Liang Ni stated that in the development of hand-type robotic products, whether for embodied scenarios or medical scenarios, apart from system parameters and system stability requirements, cost is also a significant issue that needs to be considered. This is why, since its establishment, the company has been striving to find the "lowest cost solution" distinct from high-priced overseas products by utilizing self-developed algorithms and core components.
Taking the OHand™ intelligent bionic hand as an example, this product is mainly aimed at amputees and adopts core technologies independently developed by the company, such as a non-invasive EMG neural signal sensor array. It can actively and naturally switch based on the user's intended gestures, simulating human hand movements to perform basic actions like side grip, side pinch, point, support, and lift.
"To be honest, the bionic hand market is not a consumer upgrade market, which also means that the purchasing power of its target users is limited. Therefore, we first localized the core technology to reduce the price of a bionic hand to less than 100,000 yuan. On the sales side, in addition to traditional dealer agency, we have applied to be included in the Shanghai Disabled Persons' Federation subsidy catalog for centralized procurement, with a reimbursement rate of nearly 90%, making it one of the few high-end intelligent assistive devices subsidized by the China Disabled Persons' Federation. Currently, with the implementation of this model in Shanghai, other provinces and cities, including Zhejiang and other regions, have also begun to gradually expand this model," said Ni Hualiang.

At the same time, leveraging its cost advantages, the overseas expansion plan for OHand™ intelligent bionic hand is underway. The product has obtained U.S. FDA and EU CE certifications, and received the U.S. PDAC commercial insurance payment code in 2024. It has already achieved commercialization in multiple countries and regions, including the United States, the Middle East, Russia, and India.
Ni Hualiang revealed,Since last year, the company's overall overseas revenue has exceeded that of domestic revenue.。
ROhand's dexterous hand products mainly serve embodied robotics enterprise customers. Since there is no need to connect to a neural interface as with prosthetics for human use, the development of dexterous hands essentially involves "subtracting" from the complexity of bionic hands.
According to the introduction, OYMotion's first-generation dexterous hand, ROHand, is a highly sensitive robotic end-effector with 6 active degrees of freedom and 5 passive degrees of freedom, totaling 11 DOF. In terms of appearance and structural design, the company has chosen dimensions and proportions that closely resemble the human hand. Additionally, each finger of the ROHand dexterous hand can bear a maximum load of 10KG, and the entire hand can carry up to 30KG, making it suitable for use across multiple complex scenarios in the field of embodied robotics.
Information provided by OYMotion shows that the dexterous hand has also achieved a balance in the "cost-system parameters-stability" impossible triangle. Since ROHand was officially launched in October 2024, it has entered the supplier systems of several robotics companies, including multiple overseas embodied intelligence firms. "In terms of shipment volume, we have already ranked among the top tier of dexterous hand manufacturers in China," Ni Hualiang introduced.

OYMotion's Dexterous Hand Application in the Embodied Robotics Field
In addition, for neurorehabilitation scenarios, OYMotion has developed a finger joint exoskeleton robot product for hand function rehabilitation training in individuals with hand dysfunction. This product has already entered the fast-track approval channel for innovative medical devices. Currently, the product is undergoing clinical research related to two indications: hand dysfunction caused by stroke and peripheral nerve injury.
Ni Hualiang stated that the company is currently pushing forward with product iteration and global market expansion, with plans to launch two newly upgraded dexterous hand products this year. Among them, the new second-generation dexterous hand will feature tactile and other sensing capabilities and is expected to officially hit the market this month.
