The model uses multimodal techniques such as contrastive learning and diffusion learning to precisely generate 3D facial images solely from DNA sequences and enhances image realism by integrating individual phenotypes (e.g., age, gender, body mass index). Difface also has the ability to predict facial aging trends and maintains high generation stability even when genetic data is highly compressed. Results from blind tests with volunteers showed that most participants could accurately identify real individuals corresponding to the model-generated images, verifying its visual consistency and recognizability. This achievement provides a novel approach for directly reconstructing individual facial features from genetic information and marks significant progress in the challenging task of mapping DNA to 3D faces.
