Medtronic to Spin Off Diabetes Unit Amid Profit Forecast Cut

The new company will be led by Que Dallara, head of Medtronic's diabetes division.It is expected to have approximately 8,000 employees, with its headquarters located in Northridge, California.It is reported that the spin-off plan will be completed within 18 months.

In the fiscal year 2024, Medtronic's diabetes business revenue reached $2.488 billion, a year-on-year increase of 10.0%, showing certain growth potential.
