On May 27, Drug Farm, an innovative biotech company focused on drug research and development, announced today that it has reached an option agreement with Xiamen Amoytop Biotech. The two parties will collaborate on Drug Farm's original innovative drug.ALPK1 AgonistDF-006 conducts clinical collaborations in the fields of hepatitis B and liver cancer in Greater China (Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao).

DF-006 is an orally administered ALPK1 agonist immunomodulator that effectively activates innate immunity in the liver. The drug successfully completed single-dose and multi-dose escalation studies in healthy subjects, and subsequently demonstrated positive anti-HBV activity in multi-dose escalation studies involving patients with chronic hepatitis B.

Dr. Xu Zong, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Drug Farm, stated: “DF-006 treats hepatitis B virus infection and liver cancer by activating the liver's innate immunity through a unique new mechanism.Preclinical studies show that the combination of DF-006 and α-interferon can enhance the efficacy against hepatitis B.We look forward to seeing the combined application of DF-006 with Amoytop Biotech's already marketed drug Pegbea, which will provide a potentially better new functional cure solution for patients with chronic hepatitis B."

Amoytop Biotech Chairman and General Manager Mr. Sun Li stated:"Amoytop Biotech is committed to becoming a leader in the field of functional cure for chronic hepatitis B. Therapies based on PegBio have significantly improved the functional cure rate in different populations with hepatitis B. Through exploratory research on innovative drugs like DF-006, there is hope to further enhance the functional cure rate for chronic hepatitis B and significantly reduce the risk of liver cancer."
