Recently, at the BEYOND Awards 2025 ceremony held at the Venetian Macao's Cotai Expo, SIGNET was honored on the "BEYOND Awards Healthcare Technology Breakthrough List" for its world-first targeted drug for diffuse gastric cancer, SIGX1094, developed using an "organoid + AI" platform. This marks another significant milestone for SIGNET on the international authoritative stage, following its recognition as one of Forbes Asia's 100 to Watch in 2023 and winning the Global Innovation Award 2025.

SIGX1094 is the world’s first targeted drug independently developed by Signet Therapeutics for diffuse gastric cancer. It is the first drug developed based on an organoid and AI technology platform, and also the world’s first dual-target inhibitor of FAK/SRC to enter clinical trials. FAK and its key binding partner SRC form a complex that activates downstream pathways. During drug development, single inhibition of either FAK or SRC was found to be compensated by the other, significantly reducing the drug's anti-tumor efficacy. Therefore, by simultaneously blocking the critical signaling pathways of both FAK and SRC, the limitations of single-target inhibitors were overcome. Relying on its self-developed organoid disease model platform for target validation and efficacy evaluation, and integrating AI-driven drug design from XtalPi (2228.HK), Signet Therapeutics successfully developed SIGX1094, the world’s first targeted drug for diffuse gastric cancer, in just four years. The drug has received Orphan Drug Designation and Fast Track Designation from the U.S. FDA.

BEYOND International Science and Technology Innovation Expo (BEYOND Expo), as one of the most influential technology events in Asia, has attracted more than 800 top global technology companies to participate in this year's expo, jointly exploring the future landscape of technological innovation. The selection for this ranking evaluates local innovation from a global perspective, constructing a leading index through a multi-dimensional and multi-level assessment model that includes R&D strength and innovation ecosystem, market leadership and growth, social responsibility and sustainable development, international strategy and achievements, and future vision and strategic planning. The aim is to identify and honor those forces in the medical technology field that demonstrate exceptional innovation capabilities and achieve "defining industry-leading standards."
