Nextbiomedical Announces Its Innovative Hemostatic Powder Product---NexpowderThe research findings were published in *GUT* (Impact Factor: 23), the most influential journal in the field of gastroenterology worldwide. The study showed that for patients with non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding (NVUGIB), the use of Nexpowder after successful endoscopic hemostasis significantly reduced the risk of rebleeding.

This study is a multicenter randomized controlled trial conducted at three top university hospitals in Korea. A total of 341 patients were enrolled.(Male patients accounted for 72.1%; the average age was 64.8 years). These patientsRandomly assigned to receive Nexpowder treatment or no further treatment (control group).

Specific Research Results

Conclusion

The use of Nexpowder after endoscopic hemostasis significantly reduced the early (within 3 days) and late (within 30 days) rebleeding rates in NVUGIB patients, especially in cases of ulcer-related bleeding.
