Hansoh Pharma (03692) announced that on June 2, 2025, its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Shanghai Hansoh Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., entered into a licensing agreement with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

According to the license agreement, the licensor will grant the licensee an exclusive global license (excluding mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau) to develop, manufacture, and commercialize HS-20094 (the product). The licensor will receive an upfront payment of $80 million and is eligible to receive milestone payments of up to $1.93 billion based on the product’s development, regulatory approval, and commercialization progress, as well as double-digit percentage royalties on future potential product sales.

This product is a GLP-1/GIP dual receptor agonist currently under research. It has successfully completed multiple Phase II trials with positive efficacy and safety data and is currently undergoing Phase III clinical trials in China.

The Board believes that entering into the licensing agreement is in the overall best interests of the Company and its shareholders. The Company will also take this opportunity to maximize the scientific and commercial value of the Group's technology platform.
