Nucleic Acid Drug Developer
Dr. Ying Bo, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Abogen, has been invited to attendUK-SEA Vax Hub Meeting 2025And delivered a keynote speech.
At that time, he will share the latest explorations and practices in the full-process automation and intelligent construction of mRNA vaccines, demonstrating how to accelerate and enhance vaccine research and development through technological innovation, providing new ideas for the sustainable development of global vaccine manufacturing capabilities.

This year's annual meeting brought together scholars from renowned universities in the UK, experts and industry leaders in the field of vaccine research and production in Southeast Asia, coveringFrontier Technology Sharing, In-depth Academic Discussion, and Expansion of Investment Cooperation Opportunities, aiming to showcase the technical strength and phased achievements within the region, and to promote the coordinated development of scientific research and the industrial community.
The annual meeting is also expected to help Malaysia achieve its strategic goal of vaccine self-sufficiency and accelerate the cultivation of a new generation of vaccine scientists and biomedical engineers.

About UK-SEA Vax Hub
UK-SEA Vax Hub (UK-Southeast Asia Vaccine Manufacturing and Research Center) is led by the University of Sheffield in the UK, in collaboration with the University of Cambridge, the University of York, the University of Kent, and several universities and institutions in Southeast Asia (such as Chulalongkorn University). It is an international collaborative platform dedicated to promoting equitable access to vaccines and enhancing the ability of low- and middle-income countries to respond to public health crises.
Supported by the UK Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), as part of the UK Vaccine Network (UKVN), the platform focuses on the development of protein subunit vaccines, mRNA vaccines, and viral vector vaccines. It aims to build a sustainable vaccine manufacturing system in Southeast Asia to address current and future epidemic challenges.
