Yunnan Baiyao ranked 33rd, unchanged from last year. Sino Biopharm ranked 39th, dropping one position compared to last year. Huadong Medicine ranked 41st, appearing on the list for the first time. Hengrui Medicine ranked 46th, rising two positions from last year. CSPC Pharmaceutical Group ranked 48th, returning to the list.

The listing of these Chinese pharmaceutical companies not only reflects the rapid development of China's pharmaceutical industry but also demonstrates global market recognition of Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises.

A Quick Review of the Listing Status of Chinese Pharmaceutical Companies in the Past Five Years.

In the 2024 Pharm Exec Top 50 ranking of global pharmaceutical enterprises, four Chinese pharmaceutical companies were listed. These four Chinese pharmaceutical companies are: Yunnan Baiyao (ranked 33rd), Sino Biopharm (ranked 38th), Shanghai Pharmaceutical Group (ranked 42nd), and Hengrui Medicine (ranked 48th). Among them, Sino Biopharm has been listed for six consecutive years, Yunnan Baiyao returned to the list, while CSPC fell out of the TOP50.

In the 2023 Top 50 list, four Chinese pharmaceutical companies were ranked: Sino Biopharm (ranked 39th), Shanghai Pharmaceutical Group (ranked 41st), Hengrui Medicine (ranked 43rd), and CSPC Pharmaceutical Group (ranked 48th).

In 2022,Four Chinese pharmaceutical companies made the list: Hengrui Medicine (ranked 32nd), Sino Biopharm (ranked 40th), Shanghai Pharmaceuticals (ranked 41st), and CSPC Pharmaceutical Group (ranked 43rd). This achievement demonstrates that the competitiveness and influence of Chinese pharmaceutical companies in the global pharmaceutical industry are gradually increasing.

In 2021,A total of five Chinese pharmaceutical companies made the list, the most in history. They are: Yunnan Baiyao, Hengrui Medicine, Sino Biopharmaceutical, Shanghai Pharmaceuticals, and CSPC. Among them, Yunnan Baiyao ranked 34th, Hengrui Medicine ranked 38th, Sino Biopharmaceutical ranked 40th, Shanghai Pharmaceuticals ranked 42nd, and CSPC ranked 44th.

Believe that from now on, more Chinese pharmaceutical companies will make it to the list.
