SIGNET is a pioneer in China for "organoid + AI" drug development, successfully developing SIGX1094, the world’s first innovative drug based on this platform. SIGX1094 is also the world’s first targeted drug for diffuse gastric cancer and the first dual-target FAK/SRC inhibitor to enter clinical trials. It is currently undergoing Phase I clinical trials at Peking University Cancer Hospital, showing good safety and preliminary anti-tumor activity during dose escalation. The drug has received Orphan Drug Designation and Fast Track Designation from the U.S. FDA.

In addition to disease models, SIGNET has also established various normal organoid models. Taking its self-developed cardiac organoid as an example, the traditional gold standard for cardiac toxicity testing, "hERG," can only reflect potassium ion channel function with a predictive accuracy of about 45%. Through systematic analysis of cardiac toxicity data from over 120 FDA-approved or Phase II drugs, the SIGNET team identified limitations in traditional 2D cell and animal experimental models. To address this issue, SIGNET developed cardiac organoids with atrial and ventricular structures that can beat autonomously, combined with AI technology to establish a new drug toxicity testing model for analyzing beating images of cardiac organoids. This approach increased the blind prediction accuracy of cardiac toxicity to approximately 85%, providing a more reliable solution for drug safety evaluation.

About SIGNET

SIGNET is a global pioneer in the "organoid + AI" drug development model, recognized as a specialized and innovative enterprise in Shenzhen and certified as a national high-tech enterprise. The company originated on the campus of Harvard University and officially established its presence in Shenzhen by the end of 2020, having since secured nearly 220 million yuan in funding and project grants. Signet Therapeutics currently has four drug pipelines, with the lead pipeline developing SIGX1094, the world’s first targeted therapy for diffuse gastric cancer. SIGX1094 has received IND approval from both the U.S. FDA and China’s NMPA, and has been granted Orphan Drug Designation and Fast Track Designation by the U.S. FDA. It is currently undergoing Phase I clinical trials at Peking University Cancer Hospital.

Signet is not only the phonetic translation of "Signet" but also adheres to the vision of "Full of Hope, Investigating Things to Gain Knowledge." The company leverages patient-derived organoid disease models that closely match genomic characteristics for critical roles in drug efficacy evaluation and novel target discovery. By integrating AI-powered screening, synthesis, and optimization of small molecule compounds, Signet Therapeutics develops first-in-class innovative targeted drugs. The company has approximately 1500㎡ of R&D space and 500㎡ of animal laboratory facilities. SIGNET's organoid platform not only supports its own drug pipeline but also actively empowers large pharmaceutical companies in new drug development. Collaborative partners include Shenzhen Second People's Hospital, the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen BioRay Pharma, and Genuine Biotech, contributing to the creation of more innovative drugs.
