AZD4041 is aHighly Selective Orexin-1 ReceptorOX1RAntagonist, by Eolas and AstraZeneca at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) with the support of joint development.

June 2015,Eolas and AstraZeneca have reached a global licensing and cooperation agreement for the drug, which will be used inSmoking Cessation and Other Indications, with a total transaction amount exceeding$145 million, including upfront payment, clinical payment, and regulatory milestone payment. In addition,Eolas is also eligible for royalties from commercial sales.
