Medtronic today announced an exclusive U.S. distribution agreement with Future Medical Design to sell both advanced and standard peripheral guidewires. The agreement includes the first 400 cm 0.018-inch peripheral guidewire in the U.S. market, further expanding Medtronic's radial access portfolio for the treatment of peripheral artery disease (PAD).

This time, Medtronic has brought a total of 10 new peripheral stainless steel guidewires from the F-14 and F-18 series. Among them, one guidewire in the F-8 series is up to 400 centimeters long, and this guidewire can be used with its drug-coated balloon.IN.PACT(200 cm working lengthWhen used in conjunction with the Pacific Plus PTA Catheter, it provides doctors with a complete device solution for treating lesions via the radial artery approach.
