On July 24, 2025, Novartis announced a collaboration with Matchpoint Therapeutics to jointly develop novel small-molecule covalent inhibitors targeting transcription factors for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. Under the agreement, Novartis will pay $60 million upfront and up to $1 billion in milestone payments, including option exercise fees.
