On August 6, Novo Nordisk released its financial report for the first half of 2025. In the first six months, Novo Nordisk's sales reached 154.944 billion Danish kroner, growing by 16% in Danish kroner terms and 18% in fixed currency terms. Operating profit increased by 29% in fixed currency terms, with net profit reaching 55.537 billion Danish kroner.
Semaglutide's sales in the first half of the year reached 112.756 billion Danish kroner, approximately $16.7 billion, surpassing Keytruda. Specifically, the sales of Ozempic (semaglutide injection for diabetes) were 64.520 billion Danish kroner, while Wegovy (semaglutide injection for weight loss) reached 36.888 billion Danish kroner. Novo Nordisk has submitted a registration application to the European Medicines Agency for a higher dose of Wegovy (semaglutide 7.2 mg). Novo Nordisk stated that it will continue to increase commercial investment and promote the market penetration of Wegovy and Ozempic in more global markets.

On August 6, BeOne Medicines announced that the company's total operating revenue in the first half of 2025 was RMB 17.518 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 46.0%; product revenue amounted to RMB 17.360 billion, marking a year-on-year increase of 45.8%; net profit attributable to the parent company’s owners reached RMB 450 million, compared with a loss of RMB 2.877 billion in the same period last year, turning losses into gains year on year.
