According to the Zhongtong Finance APP, XtalPi Holdings Limited (02228) surged nearly 7% again. As of press time, it rose 6.61%, trading at HK$7.58, with a turnover of HK$669 million.

On the news front, on August 5, XtalPi announced a pipeline collaboration with DoveTree, with a total order value of approximately HKD 47 billion, and has received an initial payment of HKD 400 million. This collaboration involves the research and development of multiple innovative drug assets, with DoveTree obtaining exclusive global development and commercialization rights for the related drugs. XtalPi is eligible to receive further payments and potential milestone payments totaling approximately HKD 46.6 billion. This collaboration sets a new high for orders in the AI + robotics-driven drug discovery field.

East Wu Securities pointed out that DoveTree LLC was founded by Professor Gregory Verdine, a tenured professor in the Chemistry Department at Harvard University and a pioneer in chemical biology. As a leading figure in entrepreneurship, Professor Verdine has founded or co-founded more than ten biotech companies, including five publicly listed companies, and has led the advancement of three treatments that have received FDA approval. The firm noted that the total value of this commercial collaboration reached $58.9 billion, surpassing market expectations. The firm believes that, with the endorsement of a Harvard University professor, its pipeline is expected to achieve the agreed commercial milestones, and the company's future growth potential is limitless.
