Atrial fibrillation, as a highly prevalent arrhythmia with high disability rates, high mortality rates, and high recurrence rates, has always been a focal point in cardiovascular research. Over the past decade, interventional treatment technologies for atrial fibrillation have continued to innovate, leading to the development of one-stop solutions for AF treatment.Left Atrial Appendage OcclusionAs an emerging technique, it has attracted much attention.August 8, 2025, hosted by Shanghai Life Oasis Public Welfare Service Center, organized by Shanghai Chest Hospital, and strategically supported by ShineyoMedical "Shanghai Chest Hospital Pulmonary Vein Isolation and Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion Training Course"Was held in the Shanfang Hall of Shanghai Chest Hospital, and the meeting was a complete success."

This conference, ShineyoMedical specially invited Dongfang Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University.Professor Yang Bing, Shanghai Chest HospitalProfessor Qin Mu, and the Tenth People's Hospital affiliated with Tongji UniversityProfessor Li HailingServed as the keynote speaker, respectively bringing “Current Status and Development of Pulse Ablation Technology”、“Principle of Pulse Ablation and Clinical Research Data" as well as "The Impact of Catheter Contact on Pulse Ablation"Three wonderful topic sharing. This conference focuses on the optimization of surgical strategies and the prevention and treatment of complications, attracting many electrophysiology and structural heart disease interventional physicians from the Yangtze River Delta region to participate, marking a crucial step in the regional promotion of comprehensive atrial fibrillation treatment technology."

Opening Remarks: Focusing on Clinical Value, Exploring Technological Development Together

This conference brings together top experts and scholars in the field of cardiovascular diseases in China, attracting peers from all over China to attend and learn. The conferenceProfessor Han Wenzheng from Shanghai Chest HospitalOfficially opened under the hosting of.

Professor Zhou Daxin from Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan UniversityAffirmed the leading position of Shanghai Chest Hospital in the field of interventional treatment for structural heart disease, and looked forward to providing guidance for clinical practice through surgical demonstrations, case analysis, and expert discussions at this training workshop, helping operators improve their technical skills and optimize the prevention and treatment system for atrial fibrillation.

Certificate of Authorization: Recognizing Clinical Excellence, Inheriting Technical Essence

This certificate focuses on the professors who have accumulated rich clinical experience in the field of left atrial appendage occlusion and completed a high number of surgeries. President Hou Xumin, Professor Zhou Daxin, and Professor Li Ruogu presented them with the "Training Expert" honorary certificate.

Oriental Hospital Affiliated to Tongji UniversityProfessor Yang BingAnalyze the principle of pulsed electric field ablation technology, emphasizing its advantages in shortening operation time and reducing myocardial damage. He pointed out that different ablation catheters are suitable for different clinical scenarios. In the future, it is necessary to explore the possibility of catheter use in blood environments without discharge damage, and new catheters also place higher skill demands on operators.

Principle of Pulse Ablation and Clinical Research Data

Shanghai Chest HospitalProfessor Qin MuThe patient underwent pulsed electric field ablation. The surgery was performed under general anesthesia. After transseptal puncture, a pulsed ablation catheter was positioned. Bilateral pulmonary vein isolation was achieved using ShineyoMedical's RhythPulse® pulsed electric field ablation catheter (10mm ring diameter), followed by pacing verification. The entire procedure was complication-free. After the surgery, the patient was safely returned to the ward with good postoperative recovery.

The Impact of Catheter Contact on Pulse Ablation

The Tenth People's Hospital Affiliated to Tongji UniversityProfessor Li HailingStarting from the electrical characteristics of pulsed electric fields, analyze the key factors affecting ablation outcomes, and demonstrate the correlation between catheter contact pressure, angle, and ablation success rate through clinical data. She proposed that real-time assessment of contact quality using methods such as transesophageal ultrasound is necessary during procedures to optimize pulse energy delivery and improve surgical efficacy.

【ShineyoMedical RhythPulse®-PFA System】

ShineyoMedical's RhythPulse®-PFA System is the first approved Pulse Field Ablation (PFA) system in China that integrates multi-channel, large focal points, and targeted ablation. It is mainly used for treating rapid arrhythmias such as drug-refractory and recurrent atrial fibrillation. Its core advantages include:

Large Focal Spot Design:Using the world's first 10mm ring ablation catheter, a single discharge can cover a lesion area with a diameter of 10mm, improving the ablation efficiency by more than three times compared to traditional technology.

Targeted Ablation Technology:Equipped with an intelligent contact detection module, it monitors the contact status between the electrode and myocardial tissue in real time, reducing the risk of hemolysis caused by ineffective discharges, and decreasing postoperative plasma free hemoglobin levels by 50%.

Clinical Validation Excellence:In the clinical trial of 151 cases, the immediate success rate was 100%, and the success rate of atrial fibrillation treatment at 12 months post-operation reached 85.07%, achieving internationally leading standards.
