BrainCo Reportedly Files IPO Prospectus, Eyeing $1.3B+ Valuation on HKEX or STAR Market

According to Bloomberg, BrainCo is currently in talks with investors for a Pre-IPO funding round of approximately $100 million, with the company's latest valuation surpassing $1.3 billion (approximately 9.3 billion yuan). The funds will primarily be used for technology research and development, expanding product lines, and preparing for its upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO).

Informed sources revealed that the IPO coaching team of BrainCo has simultaneously started preparing materials in Hangzhou and Hong Kong. The expected listing location will be chosen between the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) and Shanghai's STAR Market. If this round of financing and IPO proceeds smoothly, BrainCo is expected to become the world's first high-tech company with non-invasive brain-computer interface technology as its core business to successfully go public in the capital market.

BrainCo was founded in 2015 by Dr. Bicheng Han from the Harvard University Center for Brain Science in Boston, USA. At the end of 2018, BrainCo relocated its headquarters to the Future Sci-Tech City in Yuhang District, Hangzhou, China, and quickly rose to become one of the "Hangzhou Six Dragons." Since its establishment, BrainCo has completed six rounds of financing, with a total amount exceeding 300 million US dollars. Investors include Quantan Investment, Everbright Holdings, Keda Capital, China Electronics, and Zhejiang Orient, among others.
