According to the Smart Finance APP, reports indicate that Argo Biopharma is considering a listing in Hong Kong, with plans to raise approximately $300 million. This could become the largest biopharmaceutical IPO project in Hong Kong since 2024, following Hengrui Medicine.

It is reported that Argo, as a clinical-stage biotechnology company, is committed to developing a new generation of siRNA drugs to provide better treatment options for patients worldwide. The company has built a rich and differentiated siRNA candidate drug pipeline covering a wide range of indications by leveraging its industry-leading RADS (RNA molecules with enhanced activity, durability, and safety) platform technology. Argo’s product pipeline spans cardiovascular diseases, rare diseases, viral infections, metabolic disorders, central nervous system conditions, cardiac, muscular, and adipose-related fields. Among these, the cardiovascular drugs BW-01 and BW-02, the rare disease drug PKK, and the hepatitis B drug HBV have all entered Phase II clinical trials.

Argo Biopharma has undergone several rounds of financing, with investors including Apricot Capital, Loyal Valley Capital, CPE Yuanfeng, Daoyuan Capital, 3E Innovation Investment, and GSR United Ventures.
